Who are we?!
Based from our glass work studio in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK, we are a husband and wife team who have a real passion for designing and creating handcrafted, bespoke lampwork glass beads and jewellery.
A few years ago I, (Helen aka Hippy Chick!), was diagnosed with M.E. which initially left me unable to work in my 'normal' job for a few months. To keep me out of mischief, Turls, my husband, bought me a jewellery making kit and since then our combined passion for making jewellery has grown and grown. This has led us to selling handmade jewellery initially to friends and colleagues and later selling at craft fairs across the country. We have also been fortunate enough to have designed several commissioned pieces for weddings and special occasions.
My growing passion for making original, bespoke pieces of jewellery led me to become extremely interested in the fascinating world of designing and creating lampwork glass beads. I am self taught by reading lots of books and internet articles, and have been fortunate to have had lessons with Sally Carver and Diana East. This website shows you some of our creations and gives you an opportunity to purchase beads and/or jewellery if you wish!
Designs are only limited to our/your imagination!! If you see something that sparks your imagination but you'd like different sizes/colours/etc, just ask!!
